About me
Nathan Barba is a finance professional with a background in the technology sector. In his most recent role, Nathan was an associate at Invictus Growth Partners, a lower middle-market private equity firm based in San Mateo that focuses on B2B SaaS companies, where he specialized in sourcing and executing investments, supporting portfolio companies, and tracking fund performance for limited partners. He started his career at Houlihan Lokey’s technology group in San Francisco as an investment banking analyst, where he advised on and executed M&A and capital raising transactions that cumulatively exceeded $700 million.
Nathan holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, graduating magna cum laude, and an M.S. in Finance from the University of Southern California. In high school, he played soccer, ran track, and volunteered for charitable organizations like the Special Olympics.
Outside of his professional life, Nathan is passionate about soccer, following the U.S. Men’s National Team, Inter Miami, and the UEFA Champions League. He is also an avid college football fan, supporting USC and his family’s alma maters, Oregon and Alabama. In his spare time Nathan enjoys seeing friends and family, working out, reading, getting outside, and enjoying a good cup of coffee.
